Declaration
I declare that I,
with the TRU-ID,
am the student who has been offered admission to TRU. I am not a representative of the student.
Personal Information Review
The personal information contained in your Conditional Letter of Acceptance (CLOA) will be used in your Final Letter of Acceptance (LOA) and Provincial Attestation Letter (PAL) for study permit purposes.

If you require any corrections, please notify International Admissions at (for undergraduate and post-baccalaureate programs) or (for master programs) before you make your payment.
Cost to study at TRU
TRU guarantees your per-credit tuition rate*, as outlined on your Expense and Fee Information page of your CLOA, from the time you arrive at TRU for the duration of your program. Some programs will have extra costs. These costs may include additional credit requirements for your program; required pre-requisite courses to be completed at TRU, such as English or Mathematics; and labs or field activity fees. These costs will be added at the time of course registration and subject to TRU payment deadlines.

Additional expenses such as housing, textbooks and living expenses should be planned for separately.

Guaranteed tuition rates will depend on your program

Deposit Payment

Your final admission to TRU requires you to pay a *non-refundable deposit. Deposit information is found on your Official Invoice in your CLOA. This deposit will be applied to your TRU account to be used towards future tuition and fees. The deposit may not cover all tuition and fees in the first semester. Any remaining balance will be subject to TRU Dates & Deadlines and will not impact your registration in the first semester.

If you receive a visa refusal from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) prior to the admission semester and after your last LOA was issued, you will be eligible for a refund.
Refunds and Deferrals
If your study permit application is refused by IRCC, you may request a refund of your deposit, less a $200 CAD administrative fee, by submitting your study permit refusal document.

You may decide to re-apply for your study permit. In this case, you may choose to defer your admission, however you will need a new study permit rejection to apply for a refund in a future semester.
