Getting started
TRU’s pre-assessment application process is free of charge. This is not a paid service. If you are invited to apply to TRU as a result of this pre-assessment, you will then be required to pay the non-refundable $100 application fee.
Authorized agent requirement
To ensure the best experience and for the safety of our applicants from countries with a high volume of applications such as Bangladesh, students
must apply through one of TRU's authorized agents.
If you are not working with an authorized TRU agent, please contact
us at bangladesh@tru.ca before submitting this pre-assessment application. TRU works closely with a network of authorized
agents around the world.
These agents play a key role in ensuring that prospective students have accurate and complete
information about TRU, and in assisting students in planning and preparing for their studies in Canada.
Programs are updated in real time and you will only be able to see available programs.

Post-Baccalaureate Diploma (PBD) program |
Eligibility requirements |
- PBD in Tourism Destination Development
|
Open only to students from a non-Tourism
background. Applicants who have previously completed a Bachelor in Tourism Management will not be
eligible. |
- PBD in Accounting
- PBD in Finance
- PBD in Human Resources
|
Open to students from all backgrounds. Any
Bachelor's degree. |
- PBD in Business Administration
|
Open only to students from a non-business
background. Applicants who have previously completed any business degree (i.e., BBA, BCOM, MBA,
MCOM, BMS, etc.) will not be eligible. |
- PBD in Economics
- PBD in Economics and Political Studies
- PBD in Entrepreneurship
- PBD in International Business
- PBD in Mathematics and Economics
- PBD in Marketing
- PBD in Supply Chain Management
|
Open to students who have not previously
specialized in the same subject (i.e., taken more than 6 courses in the same area). Applicants who
have previously completed a business degree, with a major or specialization, cannot apply for a PBD
of the same specialization.
For example: a student with a BBA, specializing in Marketing,
cannot apply for a PBD in Marketing, but they can apply for a PBD in Economics, International
Business, etc.
As not all institutions label the area of specialization on the transcript,
we will look to see if the student has taken 6 or more related courses to determine
specialization and eligibility.
For example: a Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management
that shows 6 marketing courses on the transcript, would not be eligible for a PBD in Marketing.
